Mini Interview with Alvin (No Joke)

I was thankful to interview Alvin on his Youtube account.I wanted to try and not anoy him with SMBZ questions.

1.When you told everyone that SMBZ was canceled, did you plan to secretly work on it or did you have second thoughts?

Alvin: I had second thoughts. I have been coping with a lot of stress both at home and at work lately so I am easily irritated. Someone just pushed me too far and lost my cool. I later reconsidered since I still want to finish the series. Mostly for myself since It'll be my first completed fan series.

2.How's the production of Spiderman vs. Venom coming along?

Alvin:Haven't worked on it for a while. I'm not sure if it will ever be completed.

3.Will you ever bring back your Random Shorts series? If you do, will you have characters like Sonia in it?

Alvin:The random shorts were merely practice flashes to help me get used to the program. I prefer working with sprites nowadays.

4. What cartoons, flash submissions, music, and movies do you enjoy watching (or listening).

Alvin:Naturally, anything DBZ, Nintendo or Sega related. As for music, I loathe today's current chart music, so I choose to listen to video game tracks or some classic tunes from the 80's and 90's.
I haven't watched any new flash submissions recently. But I do occasionally watch Sonic - Nazo unleashed and Sonic's quest for power for inspiration.

5. Other then the creators of Sonic, Mario and DBZ, what other people do you look up to?

Alvin:Hmmmm... dunno.

6. Do you share a rivalry with any other FLASH makers?

Alvin :I don't consider myself a competitor when it comes to flash animation. I just do it as a hobby, much like my Youtube Poops.
It doesn't bother me if someone else's YTP's or Flash submissions get more attention than my stuff.

7. Will you ever post a picture of yourself to show some curious people what you look like?

Alvin: I'd prefer to remain anonymous for obvious reasons. Especially after the amount of Death threats I've received through PM's. >_>

8. Do you have any plans for submissions no one has heard yet?

Alvin:Not at this time. I'd prefer to get SMBZ finished first rather than sidetracking to a new series.

9.If you were given a contract to have a SMBZ show on TV or videogame, would you sign it? (It can be on any channel you want for TV)

Alvin:If I could do so without getting lawsuits up my ass, I'd consider it.

10.What do you see in your future other then more FLASH?

Alvin: Getting myself a more flexible and better paying job.

But I personally don't businezz with SMBZ no more.
Back when I was on SMBZ Underground literally everyone was SMBZ fágs, (excluding me) but now a lot of people just lost the feel for the flash, they lost the anticipation of waiting for the next preview or full episode and now if it were to be produced it would be more like "Ah nice new SMBZ episode" without any enthusiasm behind it because he made us wait so long, for something that isn't all that when you look at it in the long-run.

That's exactly how I feel, in order for me to feel the SMBZ taste, EP7 has to come, then the excitement will return. Though I still think Mecha Sonic with 4 emeralds "wtf, he will waste every1 like that", but I think it is rather natural.

Whoever Alvin is, he was awesome since the day he was born. Alvin is no genius. No one is. That is just our choice. This philosophy is what keeps the human race in check. Whether Alvin wants to be "awesome" or not is his decision. Not some internet Flash Show. These fanboys are just demoting themselves. And if Alvin keeps recieving Death Threats, just remember that Alvin can always cancel the show.

My brother was 11 when he started going to forums around the internet and after my 13th. birthday I recieved permission to chat online. Although, I will say that signatures, avatars, clans and such are not new to me. I was able to perceive what my brother was doing on Tv.com and Gamespot.
