Hey everyone, after about a month or so, I've finished typing the script for the first episode. Seemed like it was taking forever when I was working on it. Well anyway, I'm going to run it by someone I know so that he can check for any errors in the grammar. Though I still don't have a release date for the episode yet.
I can say that there will be two fight scenes in this episode, but I'll be trying to keep a limit too how long they last, since it is the first episode. But that’s not all I wanted to say.
The series is going to have it's own share of custom/edited sprites, though during the process of writing the script I realized that the overhead toad sprites aren't that good for creating fights. So I decided to build my own, based off of the only side scrolling Toad sprites you see in the castle at the beginning of Superstar saga, as well as Super Princess Peach. (Toad Jump) There are other sprites that I will be editing, but it isn't really a good time to say anything about them right now.
Also, using a good little program I have called Fruity Loops, I'll be able to make some songs by upgrading Midis, since I really have no real talent at making music. So in a way it expands the songs I could use. I plan on eventually buying an official CD of Orchestral music samples, so that when I do get that I'll be able to make the music sound very real. (Though I have no money right now.)
I will release both of what I make on the LOTSS website as well. (Once it's finished.)
I'm going to try as hard as I can to make Legend of the Shadow Star entertaining for everyone here and across the internet. So I’m going to have a lot of work to do.
