Oh hey guys It's Syax here with some screenies to a little game I'm making. Its got no official name yet, but as you can guess from the topic title, its a racing game about chax.

This is some early work on the car, which will be the same for every racer. As you can see, it's bad graphics Moon. I call him BGM for short :3

Here's more Dew in the first course I'm working on. Its called Treetop Boardwalk right now. As you can see, the polygons are low. Right now the engine actually runs pretty smoothly.

K guys, stats work in 3 tiers. Compatible matches, Incompatible matches and then everything else. Now normally everyones stats are the same to make one equal plain.

Now if you put someone in a car they like, they get a small boost in one stat. At the same time, put a racer with a car they don't like, they lose points in a stat. For example, Moon gets a speed boost when riding the blue falcon, but Mandew loses speed points when he trys to pilot a vehicle much to fast for his tastes.

So theres basicially 3 tiers. Compatible, Standard, and Incompatible. The car select screen will neatly fill you in on all this info so you don't need to go combo-hunting or mistake good luck for a new combo.

The basic car has no stat change combinations with any characters btw.

While I agree that the 3D graphics are bland, I disagree with the game play comment. The game play has potential. A game doesn't have to be eye candy to be good. Besides, you really can't judge the game by gameplay at this time, since you haven't played it/it's still having the bugs worked out.

Heres some availiable items:

Turn-Trap: When used, it lays a trap that causes people who hit it to do a 180.

Ice-Trap: This trap freezes racer in a block of ice for a few seconds.

Missile: A missile that will stun the eponent when hit.

Homing Missile: when used in first place, its like the regular kind, but if used in 2nd, the missile will home in on the other player.

Ice missile: Its like the Ice-trap only a missile

Sleep Missile: A missile that puts the target to sleep, taking away your turning and locking your speed for a few seconds.

Dynamite: Thrown straight up and explodes when it lands. The explosion has a wide radius that will stun your epponent.

Boost: Gives you a boost in speed.

Shield: temporary invulnerability.
